This is here for people that are enthusiastic about seeing contemporary expressions of their ancestry brought into the world. Welcome! Failte! My name is Callum Donald Mathers. I am a 5th generation Canadian, with Ukrainian, Scottish, and English roots. My music career spans the better part of 25 years, and is focused in music production these days, after decades of composing, performing, teaching, and competing musically. I have dedicated my future to European/Celtic/Highland ancestral music. I would like to see your instruments and performance levels get to the best that they can be, and showcase our sounds to modern audiences in alternative genres of music. I'll take you through a few ways to interact with the forum below, because I (and everyone else here) would love to meet you and hear what you would like to see become of our ancestry in music. Introduce Yourself 1.Tell us your name, don't be a stranger :) 2. What is your heritage? 3. What are some of the most important aspects of your ancestry to you, and why?
